A: Having been in the business for 13 years, we know a thing or two! We have an A+ rating with Better Business Bureau; we are supported by Fetch-Find, a premier staff training program; we are accredited through the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters; and we are fully bonded and insured.
Q: What is Meet ‘n Greet?
A: A meet and greet is the initial meeting between CPS, you and your pet. Most importantly, it allows you to meet your Chicago Pet Sitter, and to see if our service is right for you. It also allows the sitter to interact with your pet in your presence, which is important when deciding which service is right for you.
Q: Will Chicago Pet Sitters train or discipline my pet?
A: No. Chicago Pet Sitters will administer positive reinforcement for pets in accordance with your training guidelines, but our primary goal is to ensure that your pet is safe and happy. If there is a disciplinary problem, your sitter will notify you.
A: At the meet and greet, you will decide with your sitter what services you need. You will then need to provide CPS two (2) sets of house keys. The keys will be kept secure in our office until the time of your visit.
Q: How do I know when the sitter is at my home, and if my pet is safe?
A: Your Chicago Pet Sitter will send you a detailed note on his or her visit, along with a photo and time stamp. Should anything urgent arise, we will reach out immediately.
Q: What areas do you serve?
A: Currently, we service Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Wrigleyville, Bucktown/Wicker Park, North Center, Roscoe Village, Old Town, Streeterville, Gold Coast and River North. We plan on expanding into other areas soon!
